Lawrence Crandall is a professional photographer whose decades-long search for the perfect photography album led him to create Artisan Craftsman Books. Unable to find a product that truly honored his work, he spent years researching materials, binding techniques, and printing processes until he developed a solution that exceeded every expectation.
His first lay-flat book — with panoramic design on every page spread, archival-quality printing, and an environmentally responsible construction — moved his clients to tears. That response confirmed what he had long believed: that a beautifully crafted book is not just a product, it is an experience.
Today, Lawrence leads a team dedicated to producing the finest fine art photo books available to creative professionals worldwide. Every book that leaves the studio reflects his original vision: a format worthy of the photography it holds.
